Professor Dr. Jayakumar Gurusamy has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of MUCM. A seasoned expert in occupational and community medicine, he brings decades of experience across academia and industry, and currently serves as a Council Member of the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC). His qualifications include a MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal at India, Master in Medicine (Occupational Medicine) from the National University of Singapore, and fellowships from both the Academy of Medicine Malaysia and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Professor Dr. Abdul Rashid Bin Ismail has been appointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor,(Dentistry). With over 30 years of experience in dentistry and academic leadership, his past roles include Dean at University Sains Malaysia and Manipal University College Malaysia. He holds a BDS from the University of Malaya, an MSc in Dental Public Health from the University of London, and a DDPHRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

Professor Dr. Adinegara Bin Lufti Abas will continue the role of Pro Vice-Chancellor. A dedicated academic who has been with Manipal since 2000, he has progressed through various leadership roles including Lecturer, Deputy Dean, and Dean. He holds an MBBS and a Master of Public Health from the University of Malaya and is recognized for his significant contributions to medical education and academic leadership.
