UK PROFESSIONAL AND LINGUISTIC ASSESSMENT BOARD (PLAB) EXAM COMPREHENSIVE PREPARATORY ASSISTANCE
UK PROFESSIONAL AND LINGUISTIC ASSESSMENT BOARD (PLAB)
Manipal University College Malaysia (MUCM) MBBS program is recognized as Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ) and listed in the World Directory of Medical School (www.search.wdoms.org). MUCM currently facilitates its MBBS students with Arlington British Medical Academy (ABMA), Manchester, a UK based medical training academy, which offers comprehensive interactive preparatory training sessions for PLAB test first part (by online subscription/Face to Face overseas) and PLAB test second part (objective structured clinical examination) in UK, through guidance and support to international medical graduates (IMGs) as they embark on their PLAB journey after their MBBS graduation in foreign medical schools. All IMGs are required to hold registration with a license to practice medicine in UK by the General Medical Council (GMC), UK.
After attaining GMC recognition and subject to prevalent regulations for internship and specializations in UK, MBBS students will be able to do their internship and pursue subject specialization under the umbrella of National Health Services (NHS), UK and progress in their medical career and license to practice as General Practitioner or Specialist registration in UK.
Note: MUCM does not collect any fees for the preparatory training provided by ABMA. MUCM only facilitates the medical graduates interested in undertaking the preparatory training for PLAB tests with ABMA. Students interested in PLAB tests preparatory training are requested to go through the ABMA terms and conditions as they will be bound by them. Training will be provided based on a minimum number of candidates as required by the training provider.

Entry Requirements
All applicants except those with the degree qualification, STPM / A-Level must fulfil the requirement at SPM/ O Levels or its equivalent.
A combination of SPM and O Level results is allowed to fulfil the entry requirement.

- The minimum age requirement for entry into a medical programme is 18 years old during admissions.

- found guilty of offence(s) affecting the human body
- recent or serious dishonesty e.g., cheating at examinations, falsification of documents, plagiarism; and/or
- serious physical or mental illness
- serious communicable disease(s)
- The English Language competency requirement is mandatory only for international students.
