CTL is formulated primarily as a premise to provide premium faculty development programmes that will inculcate incessant intellectual curiosity, acquisition of new knowledge and skills through research and education which will transform medical professional proficiency, performance, and patient outcomes. CTL has been the front runner in IPE/IPP conglomeration through the successful organization of the International Conference in Interprofessional Education Practice & Care (ICON-IPEPC) since 2018. CTL created history in conducting the first ever national Health Care Team Challenge (HCTC) which involved multi-professional students across 5 universities in Malaysia. The CTL collaborates with MHAE-FAIMER institute, IBM, MAEMHS for the enrichment of conferences and short courses conducted. CTL’s initiation in the collaboration with other Universities and industries for various short courses pertaining to health professionals’ skill upliftment is true to the core of the unit’s aim which is to foster academic interaction and innovation across disciplines.
