Course Details

A comprehensive enhancement course tailored for students who have completed foundations or diplomas but not passed or obtained credit in science and mathematics at SPM or an equivalent level has been planned by CFGS. Thus, after completing the Foundation in Science or equivalent courses together with MUCM’s enhancement courses, students will be able to enroll in the undergraduate psychology program.

By offering these courses (Mathematics and General Science), we aim to bridge the gap in students' foundational knowledge and ensure they meet the necessary requirements for admission into the psychology program.

Course Curriculum

The proposed enhancement course will cover fundamental concepts in general science and mathematics at the SPM level. The curriculum will be designed to align with MQA guidelines and ensure that students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfil SPM or O Level Pre-requisites and hence later enroll in psychology program.

Duration and Schedule

• The enhancement course will span a comprehensive program lasting eight weeks or 2 months
• Classes will include lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions

Assessment

• Mid-term Test: 20%
• Assignment: 30%
