• Rubber dam isolation techniques (tutorial + hands-on)
Post-Module I Exercises (To be completed over the next 2 months)
Pre-Clinical Requirements (Under Magnification):
• Endodontic treatment of 6 extracted teeth:
o Maxillary: anterior, premolar, molar (3)
o Mandibular: anterior, premolar, molars (3)
• Management of complex endodontic cases
• Role of CBCT in endodontics (tutorial + hands-on)
• Procedural errors in endodontics
• Open apex management (demonstration)
• Calcified canal coronal navigation & guided endodontics (demo)
• Post-endodontic restorations
• Post and core removal (metal & fiber posts) – demonstration
• Perforation repair on extracted teeth – demonstration
• Separated instrument management
• Instrument retrieval techniques under microscope
Post-Module II Requirements (To be completed over the next 2 months)
Pre-Clinical Exercises (Under Magnification):
• Calcified canal navigation
• Post & core removal
• Open apex management
• Perforation repair
• Separated instrument retrieval
Clinical Requirement:
• Endodontic treatment of 1 molar tooth with post-endodontic restoration
• Case discussion and documentation
• Principles of biomimetic dentistry in endodontics
• Stress-reduced access cavity concepts
• Material selection for dentin replacement and reinforcement
• Biomimetic post-endodontic restorations
• Onlay Preparation- Demonstration and hands on
• Deep margin Elevation
• Biomimetic Cementation
• Biomimetic decision-making in complex endodontic cases
Clinical Component (To be completed over the next 2 months)
• Management of one complex endodontic case (patient-based)
• Case presentation and group discussion
Assessment & Certification
Final Assessment Includes:
• Clinical Logbook Evaluation
• Theory Examination (MCQs)
• Final Case Presentation (evaluated by internal examiner)
Graduation Ceremony
Successful fellows will be awarded the Certificate in Advanced Clinical Micro-endodontics, recognizing competence in microscope-assisted and biomimetic endodontic practice.
