Two day Orientation Program for FIS Batch 16 Student

A team of MMMC and FiS Orientation Committee worked out together a two day orientation program held on 29-30th March 2018 to better equip the Foundation in Science New Batch 16 students’ preparation for a brand new college life.
The program started with the “Meet the Mentors” session which was to introduce them to their mentors who are the current lecturers. It was their first official ice-breaking with each other and they were also briefed of about the exciting college life here in MMMC.
An overview of their studies, examinations and college regulations were laid down by the Head of Program of FiS. In addition to that, they were briefed about all of the resources on campus and also had a decent motivating session from the Psychology counsellor to kick start their semester.
Overall, the two-day programme gave the Batch 16 students a chance to familiarize themselves with a new environment as they get to socialize with their peers and mentors. With all of the resources and supports available in MMMC, the students are definitely in good hands. The classes commenced on 2nd of April and it marks as the day they made that one small step into their new phase in life.
