On the 5th of January 2018, the Foundation in Science (FiS) academic team engaged in a zestful and empowering one-day faculty development workshop with the theme: Curriculum Development & Assessment.
The workshop was thoughtfully designed and facilitated by two veteran MEU coaches – Prof. Adinegara Lutfi Abas and Prof. Soumendra Sahoo.
Apart from the professionally enriching knowledge acquired, participants were kept on their toes by a witty reward system that encouraged healthy competition and active participation.
On the last day of Feb 2018, a full day OSCE workshop was conducted by MEU and OSCE committee under the chairmanship of Professor Soumendra Sahoo.
The theme was to create quality OSCE question and to apply during the workshop.
The Dean of FOM, Professor Adinegara not only graced the workshop but also facilitated a couple of sessions.
There were a total of 19 faculty members who participated and engaged actively throughout the workshop.
It was very heartening to see five head of departments of FOM actively participating and rendering their thoughts during the workshop.
One of the highlights was the “Live OSCE” session where two students from the 10th semester were examined through OSCE circuit using questions created by each participants’ group; which was then followed by a feedback session
