E-Learning Platform

MOODLE is the cornerstone of administering e-learning and m-learning (Mobile learning) in the college. All the 9 disciplines have medical information in MOODLE. The weekly teaching schedule of all disciplines has a few weekly slots for e-learning. MOODLE is used in MBBS, BDS, and FIS curriculum.

Old Moodle version 1.4 to 1.6: had Hits of about 73160 (From June 2009 to October 2013). It is no more in use and the site is deleted, and is replaced by a newer, faster, and secure version of Moodle 3.2.

The new MOODLE site has hits of 77608 (From May 2013 to May 2017). It is updated from 1.6 to 2.3, then to version 2.8 to 3.0 and finally to 3.2 the current version. We have constantly updated the site from time to time and kept pace with MOODLE’s regular software updates.
